Fees are calculated using the current week's USD/GHS exchange rate updated every Tuesday. Cal Bank and Access Bank use different rates. Valid Tuesday through Monday. USD base fees are fixed per NIA schedule.

Verified digital address code for your location in Ghana.
Note: With a valid passport, no Guarantor is needed.
You need a Guarantor — someone with a valid Non-Citizen ID Card willing to vouch for you.

Note: Your old card is the most critical document. If lost, inform the officer — extra steps may be needed.
Only one document is required for a replacement:
- 🚔Police Report or Police Extract MANDATORY
Confirming loss, theft, or damage. Obtain from Ghana Police Service before visiting NIA.
Important: Visit Ghana Police Service first to obtain the report before coming to the NIA office.
